Glen, Managing Director

Glen After a management career at Bupa, Glen founded Healthcare Partners in 1996 and was also a founding member of Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII). When he’s not managing Healthcare Partners, acting as Chairman of the British Insurance Broker Association's (BIBA) Private Medical Insurance Focus Group or being quoted on health insurance matters in the media, he enjoys spending time with his children, dogs and donkeys. He is also a keen skier and tennis player and enjoys touring on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Elaine, Operations Director

After running her own logistics company for many years, Elaine now assists with the strategy and organisation of the business. In a former Elaine played county cricket for Middlesex, played hockey for the south of England, football for Arsenal Ladies and Wales. These days she is a keen golfer who by her own admission would rather be on the golf course.

Kerrie, Finance Manager

Kerrie began her career as an accountant and now manages our finance department. After a hard day at the office, most of Kerrie’s time is spent with her 2 teenage daughters, trying to keep up with their latest fashion and trends. Any time she has left is taken up looking after her 6 dogs.

Dawn, Finance Administrator

Dawn After a career in financial administration Dawn provides financial support to Healthcare Partners. Away from the office she enjoys photography and reading, and is in the process of researching her family history. Dawn’s real passion is her allotment and spends most weekends with her son and husband getting her hands dirty and trying to encourage her teenage daughter to come with her.

Shelley, Account Executive

Shelley Shelley has great experience in account management for Mercedes-Benz in their corporate sales, looking after some of their largest corporate clients. Before that she worked as a Traffic Supervisor at Stansted Airport for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines – without any near misses! Outside of work Shelley spends loves to spend time with my friends and family and enjoys walking my two cocker spaniels, Jimi and Eddie, and her partner as well.

Siobhan Hatswell, Account Executive

After finishing college Siobhan worked in sales before joining Healthcare Partners as an account executive for our individual PMI clients. In her spare time Siobhan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dancing and going to the cinema.

Kelly, Account Executive

Kelly Kelly hails from South Africa where she worked in the insurance industry. She now specialises in taking care of our individual PMI clients, along with assisting with travel insurance enquiries. In the little spare time Kelly has with her husband, two children and a Chihuahua, Kelly enjoys reading, cooking and watching Masterchef. In 2009 Kelly and her children joined her husband at the Transplant Games in Brisbane, Australia where he won 3 gold medals and a silver!

Wayne, Travel Insurance Team Leader

Wayne After a career with a leading travel insurance company Wayne now leads one of our travel insurance teams. Wayne really enjoys interacting with our customers on the phone and still gets the chance when he’s not managing his team. When not at work Wayne spends time relaxing with his wife and three children. His hobbies include playing the guitar and heavy metal music. In addition, he has a keen interest in falconry.

Lena, Travel Insurance Agent

Due to her interest of interacting directly with customers Lena has always worked in the customer service industry. Lena’s love of travel and experiencing different cultures and people is a great asset in her role as a travel insurance agent at Avanti. Away from work she enjoys arts and crafts, and has a great love of Teddy Bears which she can’t resist giving a home.

Sophie, Travel Insurance Agent

Before joining us Sophie gained valuable experience in customer service roles here and abroad. Sophie really enjoys her role of travel insurance agent and loves helping customers on travel insurance queries. Outside of work Sophie loves meeting up with friends, long weekends away, the odd bit of travel and adventurous activity sport.

Sally Sally has spent her career in a range of service and manufacturing based industries and loves dealing with customers. She loves nothing more than when the phones are hot in our travel insurance department! Apart from her two children Sally’s hobbies are dog training and walking Boss, her German Shepherd, running, keeping fit and gardening.

Angela, Travel Insurance Agent

Angela Angela is very proud of her Orkney routes and has had a varied career history including nursing, administration and customer service. Angela loves speaking to customers on the phone. She is meticulous about getting the right level of cover for customers so they can enjoy their holidays with complete peace of mind. Angela’s interests are reading, walking, computing, socialising with friends and spiritualism.

Bernie, Travel Insurance Agent

After many years of experience in the insurance industry in reinsurance and travel Bernie now works as a travel insurance agent for Avanti. Outside of work Bernie has a keen interest in alternative medicine and healing, such as Kinesiology and Reiki!

Darren, Travel Insurance Agent

Darren Having worked in various customer service sales roles Darren now puts his experience to good use helping our travel insurance customers. He has a keen interest in mathematics and loves producing our weekly sales reports. Away from work Darren has a keen interest in sports, particularly cricket and football, and is a passionate Arsenal fan. He also loves cars, but freely admits he is not mechanically minded.
